Safa vom „THE PERES CENTER FOR PEACE AND INNOVATION“ über ihre Zeit bei KICKFAIR
my name is Safa, from Israel. I belong to the Arab-Palestinian minority, which constitutes 20% of the total population in Israel we known as Arab48.
First of all, I would like to thank KICKFAIR for the amazing experience of being part of this wonderful family for two weeks and to take part in their wonderful activities in Munich schools and meet a wide range of students from different backgrounds and countries.
I’ve been volunteering at the Peres Center of Peace and Innovation for three years.
Through the Peres Center as volunteers, we have to chance to lead for social change for understanding the others side and accept him. In the Peres Center for Peace, everybody has a place, no matter what race, religion, or gender.
In our varied projects, including workshops, technology projects, and soccer language training games we make a place of diversity dialogue, giving the chance to everyone to represent his culture, language and believes.
During my stay with KICKFAIR, I had the opportunity to contribute from experience in training and volunteering. Although my experience I still learned many things on a personal and professional field.
In the end, I wish you all a lot of success in your projects for social change of understanding, respect, and acceptance of the other because we have no other way of having a peaceful life.
