In General

Football fascinates, delights and unites people all around the world - independent of age, sex, social background or cultural affiliation. While playing football, children and young people gain important social experience: They learn how to play in a team, obey rules, cope with victory and defeat and to appreciate the performance of others.

For several years now, KICKFAIR has used the potential of football to develop various projects in the areas of education, learning and upbringing. The main thread which runs through all KICKFAIR projects is the focus on the youngsters themselves. The projects create areas where young people can take control and develop things together; where they can learn with and from each other; actively influence their own environment and build up new and positive perspectives for their own lives and those of others.

KICKFAIR also makes use of the global strength of football to bring people together. By networking with similar projects throughout the world, KICKFAIR creates platforms where young people from different countries and cultures can meet and learn with and from each other.

KICKFAIR focuses particularly on young people who are at a disadvantage socially and who otherwise have limited access to education, training and the job market.
